Summer Train & Play
It is that time of the year again!!! Time to train hard and gain an EDGE in the off-season in order to prepare yourself for the regular season. Our athletes had incredible success last off-season training, and we look forward to even better results this year. Due, once again, to the overwhelming success of past years summer training, there will be limited spots available this year.
Yet again, there is already an overwhelming response for summer training this year. To ensure the MAQ philosophy of a small athlete to trainer ratio’s, we are only taking the first 75 athletes to register. Although we could fill many more, I feel this small athlete to trainer ratio is what makes our program so successful. DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS MAY 1st. ALSO, A $200 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT!
WE HAD OVER 50 ATHLETES PRE-REGISTER IN SEPTEMBER OF 2019 TO SECURE THEIR 2020 SPOT! THIS MEANS WE ONLY HAVE 25 SPOTS LEFT FOR THIS SUMMER OF 2020.
The MAQ summer Train and Play Program will be 8 weeks long, beginning June 8th and commencing August 2nd. Training program options will be 1 or 2 days a week. Additional training days are available to be scheduled during the week. All training sessions are 1 hour long.
Options to schedule your 1 hour training sessions are below:
- Option #1: Mondays 8am-6pm
- Option #2: Tuesdays 9am-12pm or 3pm-6pm
- Option #3: Wednesdays 8am-6pm
- Option #4: Thursdays 9am-12pm or 3pm-6pm
I know many parents/athletes have a concern of being gone certain weeks in the summer. If you miss a week(s) due to camps/vacations there is no penalty, as long as cancellations are within the 48-hour policy. Your Summer 8 week program will just extend by the number of weeks or sessions missed. The workouts will be custom to each athlete and his or her needs as well as position. Each session will include a full dynamic warm-up, full strength and speed, as well as realistic on court/field fundamentals with game play. Each athlete will go through a full evaluation process and be tested in weeks 1 and 8 of their program. Results will be charted and sent home to parents for review in order to see the progress made. It is encouraged to show these results to coaches as well.
Due to the waiting list of athletes MAQ currently has, a registration fee of $200 is required to reserve your spot, that will go towards your summer balance.
As in previous years, each athlete will receive a full take home workout tailored to his or her own specific sport and position. I ask that these workouts be performed 2 – 3 days a week. Each athlete will also have the ability to do any classes that are offered, at a discounted rate.
Also, Advocare supplements are available and is a sponsor of MAQ. Any MAQ athlete will receive discounts on supplements.
MAQ is also sponsored by Nike and Under Armor, so any athlete can receive gear at a discounted price.
Pricing for the 2020 – 2 Days/Week Summer Program as follows:
8 weeks of training 2 days a week – $730

Option of more Days of Training/week – $45/session
These optional days can also be scheduled as a shooting, skill or field only days. A whole session that is dedicated to game and live play.
